Un nouveau CD en septembre Le prochain CD de Michel Camilo sortira en septembre chez DECCA (Universal). Il s'agira cette fois de musique classique : Michel Camilo sera accompagné par le BBC Symphony Orchestra dirigé par Leonard Slatkin. Il interprêtera notament ses deux oeuvres "Concerto pour Piano & Orchestre" et "Suite pour Piano, Cordes and Harpe", ainsi qu'une nouvelle version de "Caribe" pour piano seul. Tous les concerts 2001. Dernier album en date Spain 1999 Michel Camilo & Tomatito (Duo) Il est plutôt inhabituel, de nos jours, d'entendre de la musique mariant guitare et piano. Peut-être à cause du fait que les styles créés par ces deux instruments semblent incompatibles. Trouver l'enregistrement d'un tel duo, aussi singulier, est un évenement rare. Toutefois, lorsqu'à la guitare on trouve un artiste de Flamenco aussi accomplit que Tomatito, et qu'un pianiste de Jazz comme Michel Camilo est au clavier, c'est une proposition d'ensemble tout à fait différente. traduit du commentaire de Faustino Nunez
